It’s party time! 10 cute and creative 1st birthday party ideas
Your baby’s very first birthday is approaching, and not not only turning one a big milestone in itself, it also means that you have made it through your first year of parenthood!
Where did that year go, I hear you ask (seriously; could babies not come with a pause-button?!).
First birthdays are a memorable day, and even though your tot won’t remember this day in the slightest, I think most of us still like to turn it into a right celebration. And rightly so!
So get your party hats our and let these gorgeous birthday bashes inspire you! (And don’t forget to send us the pics of the party after!)
This is a perfect unisex birthday party theme, working equally well for your little girl as it would your little boy. We love the animal shaped sugar cookies given as party favors at the end!
2. A Supercool Race Car Party
I know my little boy racer would have loved this party, as I am sure all little boys (and their daddies) would. This party came complete with a “pit crew” play area, a race car decorating station, a license plate welcome sign, and even a “parking area for strollers. Cuuuute!

8. A Parisian Red-Balloon Party
Paris is never wrong, they say, and it looks like that sentiment can stretch to birthday party themes as well. This one we think can work for both boys and girls, and you don’t have to limit yourself to Paris, by the way. Pick any favourite city and there the party around it!
Little girl turning one? Make it pink. All pink. You can’t go wrong with that!
