Popular Hen Party Ideas for 2019
Whether you’re interested in a week-long hen party or you just want to go away for the day, you’ll always need hen party activities and ideas to keep the girls busy. Lucky enough I have put together some extremely popular hen party ideas for 2019…
A bit of a cliché cocktails and hen parties, but they go really well together, and don’t we know it. Lots of hen parties booked cocktail making last year and had an absolute ball. It’s not just about making the cocktails either; there’s games, snacks and lots of tastings. Sounds… hiccup… shamazing!
More hen parties than ever before booked motorised activities this year, with the most popular being the amazing quad bike. They’re versatile, easy to ride and tons of fun. Explore mountains paths, woodland trails and, if you’re feeling brave, go through swollen streams and rivers.
That’s right… Pontins. Groups have been booking onto the themed adult weekends at Pontins, also known as 48 Hour Party, for their 2019 hen parties. Themed parties include 70s and 80s, 90s and 00s, Floor Fillers and the Ultimate Party. It’s just an excuse to dress up all weekend.
Horse racing has always been a firm favourite with hen parties, with Ascot, Cheltenham, Newbury, Nottingham and Newcastle being the destinations of choice. These racecourses offer packages including food, tote bets and drinks vouchers. Some Newbury dates have after parties too, which include acts such as Olly Murs, famous 80s bands and Craig David.
River Boat Party Cruises
Fun river cruises with the girls, drinking Prosecco and dancing to cheesy tunes, is also set to be a popular hen party activity for 2019. As there’s no motion (from waves), even the weakest sea legs can cope with these party cruisers, making it a cracking night out.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
There’s nothing like the smell of gun oil in the morning, but maybe not after cocktail making the night before! Our hen parties in 2018 have loved shooting clays into a million pieces, and this is set to continue in to 2019. Also, our instructors have advised me that hen parties tend to pick it up quicker than stag parties, because they listen!
Get away from your hectic life and sit around with the girls sipping Champagne in the Jacuzzi and enjoy a massage or two – sounds amazing! My advice is if you spend decent money on a hotel you will then get a decent spa.
