Of course, you need a Christmas tree at your wedding. It can be the main centerpiece at the end of the aisle where you and your fiancé stand, or you can have small ones decorated throughout the reception venue. Whichever route you decide on, a Christmas tree has to be invited to the party, as it is the symbol of the season.

Go To Town With The Tinsel

When celebrating your big day, tinsel naturally has to make a glam appearance. This Tweet certainly has the right idea of providing your guests with tinsel to throw when you walk back down the aisle as husband and wife. You can also use it to decorate the tables. Whatever you use it for, you can’t go wrong with some shiny tinsel thrown about.

A combination of white and red is perfect for your Christmas wedding bouquet. Roses feature the two staple colors of the Christmas season, and they’re also super romantic. Surrounding some of the beautiful red roses with white flowers looks like they’re covered in a blanket of snow.

Cocktail bar at Events On Jackson

If you love the look and feel of a historic venue with vintage brick walls, authentic barn board and exposed ceiling trusses, then you would fall head over heels in love with the modern space at Events on Jackson in Phoenix, Arizona. This charming venue used to be produce warehouse, and has since been remodeled into an airy event space perfect for weddings big and small.

For this wedding inspiration, they amped up the romance with a mix of modern, industrial and vintage decor while incorporating the 5Cs of Arizona: citrus, climate, cotton, copper and cattle. The end result? A warm and inviting atmosphere beaming with romance. Read more about this cool space below, and see the entire shoot in the full gallery from Mindy DeLuca Photography.

Highlighting The 5Cs of Arizona

From Events on Jackson: When thinking about this collaborative photoshoot, we knew we wanted to focus on our building’s rich history, the perfect compliment seemed to naturally be highlighting the 5Cs of Arizona (citrus, climate, cotton, copper and cattle) and twisting them into a romantic wedding that was absolutely on trend with what we are seeing in weddings today.

Industrial chic ceremony

We started with the ceremony site. The ceremony was set up in one of our historic warehouse areas that was transformed by illuminating the area with hundreds of candles leading up to a vintage window pane simply decorated with a floral wreath and flanked by cinder blocks with simple florals of locally sourced flowers, cotton blossoms, citrus leaves, and succulents. Guests seating were simple grey colored metal chairs that blended well with the brick and simple rustic charm of the ceremony site.

Delicious cocktail hour

Cocktail hour was presented in the promenade where an industrial bar set of wood and metal was perfectly at home in the warehouse. The bar boasted gorgeous hand made mule cups and vintage rose glassware. Here the guests could choose between AZ mules, that were garnished with beef jerky and orange peel or delight in a frothy citrus cocktail. We had a comfortable couch vignette perfect for a quiet conversation during the reception as well as custom made wood cocktail tables placed as places to gather.

Gorgeous reception space

The main reception was in our large Flint-Jack ballroom. The sweetheart table was centered between two of our large glass paned garage doors that open up to our beautiful courtyard and was the perfect focal point for our newly married bride and groom. They sat under a beautiful arch that was adorned with beautiful florals and featured hand written vows from Corinthians 13:4-8 above their seats. Each guest table was a large white washed farm table, decorated with florals featuring the citrus leaves, cotton blossoms, locally sourced flowers and succulents in beautiful copper vessels as well as copper fitting candle holders with wine hued taper candles, votives, blush linens, copper flatware and rustic dinnerware.

7 Classic Wedding Ideas Brides Always Forget To Incorporate In Their Wedding

Every couple wants their wedding to stand out from all of the rest, but that doesn’t mean you have to abandon all of the tried-and-true classic wedding traditions. Here are seven traditional wedding ideas you’ll want to take a closer look at when planning your big day.

Something Borrowed & Something Blue

Is there anything more classic than including something borrowed and something blue in your wedding day? Sandy Hammer of AllSeated suggests borrowing a family member or close friend’s wedding veil, hair accessory or special piece of jewelry as your something borrowed.

“Sometimes, brides get put off by trying to incorporate something blue into their wedding day — it’s not that hard though,” she says. “Consider a light blue garter (if you are wearing one), having a piece of blue fabric sewn into the lining of your wedding gown, light blue jewelry (such as earrings or an accent ring), shoes with an accent of blue or a blue sole, or even a light shade of blue manicure.”

The Monogram

That stunning calligraphed monogram deserves to shine bright at your classic wedding in more than just your invitation suite, says Skylar Caitlin, Chancey Charm Houston Wedding Planner. “Not only are monograms elegant and classic, but using them throughout the day shows a little of your personality and creates an overall cohesive wedding experience.”

The Wedding Cake

Dessert bars have been growing in popularity. And, while the arrangements of adorable cupcakes and colorful candy are beautiful to look at, nothing beats cutting a cake with your other half, says Katie Alvarez of Planning with Poise. “The cake-cutting is one of the first tasks you’ll do together as a team; from holding the cake knife together to serving the first slice. It’s an incredibly symbolic moment – and a very cute way to entertain your guests!”

The Classic Getaway Car

“Classic to me is something that never goes out of style. I love a classic old car for the bride and groom to leave the ceremony or the reception in,” says Jyl Deering, Chancey Charm Boston Wedding Planner. “Too many brides are forgetting that classic photo that becomes a timeless keepsake.”

A Love Letter

When is the last time you wrote a love letter to your partner? “Between texting, emailing and social channels, letter-writing can seem obsolete. But, doing so is a great way to take some time to slow down, reflect, and share a thoughtful sentiment with your partner. Plus, these letters will be some of the most deeply sentimental of all your wedding day keepsakes,” says Alvarez.

Preserving The Top Layer Of Cake

Don’t forget to preserve the top layer of your wedding cake so you can share it on your first anniversary, says Melisa Imberman of The Event Of A Lifetime. It is a classic tradition that you might regret not doing it once you’re gearing up to celebrate your first year if marriage.

The Receiving Line

Another classic tradition that very few people do is a receiving line. “While many modern brides find this tradition antiquated, I think it is a great way to make sure you see and acknowledge every guest that attends your wedding before anyone gets lost in the crowd,” says Steve Moore of Sinclair & Moore.

Moody Burgundy & Black Industrial Wedding Ideas

These moody industrial wedding ideas with deep burgundy, black, and touches of copper are a welcome shift in style for the fall and winter season. We love the fun details that Confetti Events pulled together for this look! Using the unique features of the building, like an old elevator shaft and a vintage airstream trailer for fun portraits, and a beautiful rooftop space for the focus of the inspiration, we love how these ideas lend themselves so well to couples looking to have a bit of boldness in their wedding day style.

Mojica Photography captured the richness of this moody style in a beautiful way. We love how they used tucked away spaces, shadows, and streams of light to their advantage to capture such beautiful moments, along with all of the traditional details. The gorgeous blooms from Bella Chic Floral added depth and texture as they accented the fabrics and range of textures presented in the reception table design.

We hope you enjoy the style and design that this team brought to create these moody industrials wedding ideas.

A final favorite from this style was definitely the dessert options. With several cake styles from Adorn Cakes along with a pedestal of donuts, we love the variety that this could potentially offer guests, and of course they look incredible as well. We love that they carried over the lightbulb details as a custom cake topper along with the dripping paint to create a unique ceremony keepsake. All of these details came together beautifully, and we hope they have inspired you to infuse a little moody industrial style into your own wedding day!
